Through a generous bequest from Donald and Mildred Topp Othmer as well as contributions from a number of alumni and friends of ICU, the Japan ICU Foundation is able to provide support to ICU for a number of building projects on campus. The first is a multi-year commitment to provide matching funds for a dining hall/guesthouse/conference center complex and five new dormitories.

There are also commitments of $10,000 and $20,000 by individuals and groups for named rooms and lounges in ICU's new guesthouse and dormitories. The second is an annual commitment to repay loans for the new addition to the library and Global House.
