JICUF board members, staff, and guests from ICU
The board meeting was held at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus. Among the 11 board members, 9 were in attendance, along with all 4 staff members from JICUF, and the three colleagues from ICU mentioned above. The meeting began with an opening address by David Janes, the Chairman of the JICUF Board, followed by presentations on ongoing projects, financial matters, and the future directions from JICUF President and CEO Paul Hastings. Subsequently, President Iwakiri provided a report on the latest developments at ICU.
After a lunch break, the JICUF staff provided updates on ongoing and newly planned scholarships as well as proposals for changes to the grants program. Each topic sparked lively discussions. The meeting concluded by reaffirming the importance of strengthening the relationship between ICU and JICUF and moving towards common goals. We thank everyone who participated in the board meeting despite their busy schedules. The next board meeting will be held in March 2024.
