Are you looking to make a significant impact on the world by promoting global peace and cooperation? Interested individuals must apply to became a Rotary Peace Fellow first, and if successful, then apply to their select Peace Center. Programs last 15 to 24 months and require a practical internship of two to three months during the academic break. Each year, they award up to 50 master’s degree fellowships at these institutions:
- Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA
- International Christian University, Japan
- University of Bradford, England

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATE
For experienced professionals working in peace-related fields who want to enhance their professional skills, Rotary offers a three-month program in peace and conflict prevention and resolution at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. ICU, A TRUSTED ROTARY PEACE CENTER SINCE 20o2
ICU is one of just six global Rotary Peace Centers, and the only one in East Asia to offer a two-year MA in Peace Studies. Designated in 2002 for its long-term commitment to peace and reconciliation in Asia, ICU is now in its 13th class cohort of Rotary Peace Fellows. The ICU Rotary Peace Center, housed in the Graduate School, is led by Director Dr. Giorgio Shani and Coordinator Ms. Satoko Ohno.
According to Ohno-san, “We provide the opportunity for up to 10 Peace Fellows every year to study at ICU’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, to pursue Master’s Degree in fields related to peace and conflict resolution.
