ICU Sakura Fund Campaign Begins!
The JICUF is launching a one-month campaign in North America in support of the ICU Sakura Fund. We will be featuring original haiku composed by and/or photographs of sakura taken by the following five members of the ICU community on a weekly basis during the month of April. – Izumi Osawa Minevich
Izumi Osawa Minevich graduated from ICU in 2004 and is an active member of the ICU Alumni Chapter in New York. She majored in International Relations,was a member of the CMS Orchestra, was a first generation resident of Global House, and studied abroad at University of Pennsylvania in 2002-2003.
She works in the International Education Office at Ramapo College of New Jersey, helping to coordinate study abroad programs and provide support for international students and scholars from all around the world. She lives in the suburbs of New York with a 9-year-old daughter and her husband who she met while studying abroad at UPenn.
