Project Summary:
Last year, my good friend Marina Nakamura and I have launched a Facebook page called Humans of ICU. It now has over 1350 likes and has achieved 17,000 post reach. We daily interview ICU students to create an opportunity to introduce students, we don’t usually meet and chat. This is to combat prejudice and to inspire. This project will take Humans of ICU out of the school campus, to Tohoku; namely Ofunato, Iwate. March 11th, 2016 will mark the 5th year since the devastating earthquake. This project seeks to inspire students to think once again, about the revitalization of Tohoku.
