Introducing the 2023-24 JICUF Photography Interns
JICUF recently hired two new photography interns, Koto Miura and Naoki Beppu. They are both second year undergraduate students at ICU, and will regularly post on our Instagram and Facebook accounts, as well as take photographs for our publications. Please follow us on social media to check out their posts!
We asked Koto and Naoki to introduce themselves.
Koto Miura
Hello everyone. My name is Koto Miura. I started working as a JICUF photography intern this month. I’m delighted to be given this opportunity.
I’m fascinated by the imagination that a single moment captured by the lens can spur. I live in the dormitory and spend 24 hours a day on the ICU campus. I look forward to sharing the many faces of ICU from the perspective of a campus resident.
Naoki Beppu
My name is Naoki Beppu and I am a second year undergraduate student, set to graduate in 2026.
Due to my father’s influence, I became interested in cameras at a young age. I’m happy to have the opportunity to share my passion in photography in this way.
The ICU campus has a distinct beauty in each season. I hope to convey its many faces through social networks and JICUF publications, and support the activities of students and faculty.
Welcome on board, Koto and Naoki!
We would also like to thank our 2022 interns, Hinata Saito and Daiki Murakoshi, for their excellent work. Daiki is now studying abroad at Nanjing Normal University.
