JICUF Awards New Fall Grants
We are pleased to announce the second cohort of JICUF grant recipients! As previously detailed on our website, in 2016 we started to provide direct support for activities planned and executed by members of the ICU community through our Grants for Faculty and Grants for Students initiatives. Grants are available in two categories; program and research.
During the fall cycle, we received 18 grant inquiries this term, and 15 were invited to submit grant proposals. The JICUF Grants Committee approved funding for six new grants; five faculty programs and one faculty research grant. This brings our total number of JICUF grants to 18 since launching our new grants initiative earlier this year.

Qualified applicants will then be invited to submit a grant proposal for consideration. Please visit the grants page on our website at http://www.jicuf.org/grants/ to learn more about this exciting new opportunity. Should you have any questions or need any assistance, do not hesitate to contact Fernando Rojas at frojas@jicuf.org.
JICUF staff will also visit ICU in early October to meet with our second cohort of grantees and to reach out to faculty and students about our Winter FY2016 grants.
In an effort to improve our grants initiative in order to more effectively support ICU, we will be revamping our grants program in the coming 2017-18 fiscal year. We will keep you abreast of our progress, and look forward to sharing more information with you over the next few months!
