Nelson Ranch Scholarship
The Japan ICU Foundation is excited to announce the establishment of the Nelson Ranch Scholarship. The Scholarship was established in honor of ICU’s long-standing relationship with the United States and its Christian heritage. The donors have expressed their vision for the Scholarship as: “Our hope is that in some small way the Scholarship will promote peace in the world and help bind these two nations with the Love of God.” Awarded annually, the endowed Scholarship will support a United States citizen with a demonstrated commitment to Christianity for up to four years of undergraduate studies at ICU’s College of Liberal Arts.
The Scholarship is designed to support a student with significant financial need. It covers the following expenses for up to four years:
- Tuition and fees
- On-campus accommodation
- Monthly stipend for living expenses
- Airfare, at the start of studies and upon graduation
The Scholarship will be administered by the Japan ICU Foundation in close coordination with ICU. The Scholarship is being launched this year, and rising HS seniors or current university students who wish to transfer may apply.
