Online Learning at ICU and JICUF Support for ICU’s Zoom Contract
ICU was one of the first universities in Japan to announce switching to online learning in response to the COVID-19 crisis. JICUF is supporting ICU by covering ICU’s Zoom license fee for a year. To learn how online learning has been going so far, we interviewed Professor Insung Jung.
Alumni Stories No. 16 – Mr. Shinichi Hirabayashi
Mr. Shinichi Hirabayashi graduated from the College of Liberal Arts in 1963 and the Graduate School of Public Administration in 1965. He was the President of the ICU Alumni Association of the Americas in the early 2000s and currently resides in Connecticut. We are excited to share his story.

2020 Spring JICUF Undergraduate Research Day Held at ICU
The 2020 Spring JICUF Undergraduate Research Day was held at ICU on February 21, and 33 graduating students presented their research.
JICUF Grantee Highlight: Entrepreneurship Event by Student Group Entrep
ICU first year student Taiga Ogusu received a Student Activities Fund grant from JICUF in fall 2019. He and his group Entre organized an entrepreneurship event on February 7.

The Hachiro Yuasa Society was founded in 2005 to recognize the thoughtful graduates and friends who make an estate gift or other form of deferred gift that the Japan ICU Foundation will receive in the future.
