JICUF Holds Its Board Meeting at ICU
On April 14 and 15, JICUF held its board meeting at ICU. It was the first time that JICUF trustees visited the campus in five years.

One trustee has left the JICUF Board, and two new trustees have joined.
This month, David Janes became the new Chair of the JICUF Board, and Gavin Whitelaw joined the Board.

Long serving JICUF trustees Delores Roeder and Samuel Shepherd officially retired from the board of trustees on March 31, 2019. New trustees Machi Fukuyama Dilworth and Katherine Tegtmeyer Pak joined the board on April 1.
Twelve members currently serve the JICUF Board of Trustees. Dr. Jacqueline Wasilewski, who taught Cross-Cultural Communication at ICU for 18 years from 1990 to 2008, is one of them. She was interviewed by her colleague Anne Love.

The following announcement is from Sam Shepherd, Chair of the Japan ICU Foundation’s Board of Trustees. I am pleased to announce that Paul Hastings was appointed as the organization’s new Executive Director and CEO as of September 1, 2015. Paul replaces David Vikner who retired as of August 31, 2015. Paul joined the staff of the Foundation in 2006 as Development Associate. In 2007 he was promoted to Director of Development and in 2012 to Vice President. He has played a leading role in the allocation of grant and scholarship funding to ICU, and has also led the development and implementation of various Foundation and ICU initiatives, including the 2012 […]
