We are happy to introduce our new photography intern, Ms. Hana Kamio. Hana is an undergraduate student at ICU, and she will be taking photographs of JICUF-sponsored events and programs on campus. We asked her to introduce herself.
On Friday, September 16th, the JICUF hosted an ICU alumni & friends reception in New York City to welcome President Junko Hibiya and Professor Heather Montgomery from Tokyo. The two guests from ICU were in the city to attend the JICUF’s semi-annual Board of Trustees meeting. The reception was held at Shinbashi restaurant in Midtown and was attended by approximately 80 alumni, friends, trustees and staff.
We are happy to announce that Mr. Fernando Rojas has joined the staff at the Japan ICU Foundation as our new Program Manager!

From July 5th to 29th, we will host the 3rd annual Global Link program here in NYC! This year, we are excited to welcome 12 undergraduate students from ICU and spend an event-packed 4 weeks with them. Ms. Shiori Kitajima, ICU alumna and recent Teacher’s College, Columbia University graduate, has also joined as an intern to help us run the program.
